From 1980 to 1984 he participated to several High Energy Particles experiments as a member of the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics. He worked at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland), SLAC (Stanford, California, USA), DESY (Hamburg, Germany), and CNUCE (Pisa, Italy). In 1984 he graduated with full marks in Physics.
He joined IBM in 1986.
In 1991 he began to collaborate with one of the major Italian PC magazines, «MC Microcomputer», about C programming for AmigaOS.
In 1996 he began to collaborate with «Internet News» magazine, with articles dealing with TCP/IP Protocol Suite. From 1996 to 2006 he published about 200 articles on various subjects.
He also participated as speaker and chairman to several conferences on KM both in Italy and other countries, and wrote several articles on Italian business magazines. In 1999 he published a book about TCP/IP Protocol Suite, edited by Tecniche Nuove (2nd edition, 2002): “TCP/IP in pillole”, ISBN 88-481-1441-5.
In 2000 he began to collaborate with «e-Business News» magazine, about Knowledge Management, and published a book about XML: “Imparare XML in 6 ore”, ISBN 88-481-1098-3.
In 2001 he joined the Strategy & Change Consulting group, and led several KM Projects in various industrial sectors.
In January 2003 he published a book about pedagogy: “Le 10 Regole dei Buoni Genitori”, ISBN 88-344-1505-1.
At the end of 2004 he began a collaboration with «Digital» and «Internet Pro» magazines.
On July 2005 he published another psychology book, “Le 10 Regole per Vivere Sereni”, ISBN 88-344-1803-4, and on June 2006 his first fantasy novel, "La Lama Nera", ISBN 88-344-1882-4. Second volume was finished in 2007.
On March 2007 he became the owner of IBM Italia island in Second Life.
On May 2008 he conducted the first live musical in Second Life: «Odissea The Musical». On June 2008 he published a thriller short story, «Scacco matto all'assassino», in the antology «GialloScacchi».
