September 1998 — Present (11 years 3 months)
The Disciplines of Engineering Career Fair (DECaF), established in 1998, is the only annual student-managed multidisciplinary career fair at the University of California, San Diego. This event provides company representatives a unique opportunity to interact and engage with UCSD's talented engineering students regarding career options, internships, and permanent or summer employment opportunities.
DECaF is coordinated by the Triton Engineering Student Council and the 18 pre-professional engineering student organizations of the Jacobs School of Engineering. These engineering societies, representing the spectrum of disciplines at the Jacobs School, work in close collaboration to maximize the attendance of UCSD's 5,300 undergraduate/graduate student engineers and to ensure the satisfaction of recruiters and students alike.
