• Starting as a Realtor in 1977 in the state of California
and a Real Estate Estate Broker in the states of Kansas,
Oklahoma and Colorado since 1984.
• 1985, found myself drawn to the mortgage side of the
industry where I am today. Starting with a small broker
Triad Mortgage, moving on to Bank Western from 1986
to 1989. For the next 15 years I worked for Wells Fargo
(formerly Norwest Mortgage) where I was the preferred
lender for Oakwood Homes.
• This and other relationships enabled me to be an award
winning lender for Wells Fargo.That success gave me the
opportunity to become the Branch Manager for Countrywide
Home Loans in their flagship start up branch in Cherry Creek.
• I have seen a lot of interesting times and events in real estate
and mortgages industries since 1977. I survived the real estate
down turn in the early 80’s, including paying 18% on my own
mortgage. I have seen run away price increases, watched
FHA grow into and out of the number one product and most
recently I have seen the transition from a conservative 30 year
fixed loan to interest-only stated income ARM loans.
• Universal Lending is unique in that they offer an array of investors
to choose from, FNMA, GNMA, FHLMC, Credit Unions, to name a
few of the big ones, which gives us a choice in programs, products
and rates. We have in-house underwriting, processing and closing
which enhances customer satisfaction and a delivery system for
HUD’s and Closing Documents that’s superior to all I have been
associated with.
