Deb Landry is the author of the bestselling, award winning children's book, Sticks Stones and Stumped and a Coach-Parenting™ certified coach specializing in social behavioral issues and awareness.
Deb has authored several interactive children's mentoring plays on social awareness behaviors and co-authored the Maine State Best Practices in Bullying and Harassment Prevention Manual. She also co-authored, produced and directed the educational drug awareness film Ty.
She passionately shares her expertise with children, teachers and parents around the country through school visits, lectures, workshops, books, author visits, plays and her parent coaching practice. With recognition and several awards for her work in community service, she has been interviewed and featured in television, radio, and several publications including Seventeen Magazine and Woman's Day Magazine as a youth activist, author and parenting coach.
Due out in May, 2008 is Yankee Go Home, a children's book about safe places and caring adults. Being released with the book is an after school cirriculum written with Dr.'s Robin D'antona and Meline Kervorkian.
With the goal to coach parents, children and families to create balance, joy and harmony in their lives, Deb empowers her clients by using the influence of mutual respect to build positive solutions of everyday challenges for schools, children, parents and families.
