Over the past 15 years, I've written for a variety of disciplines, including B2B and B2C marketing, technology, travel and entertainment. My porfolio includes web content, email creatives, newsletters, case studies, technical documentation, software help, interviews, reviews and articles. I was a contributor to "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Lean Six Sigma," and helped plan and write "The Innovator's Toolkit: 50+ Techniques for Predictable and Sustainable Organic Growth" (Wiley, 2008). For fun, I enjoy travel writing and photography, and I'm dabbling in scriptwriting.
Writing, editing and proofreading in the areas of business, innovation, process improvement, healthcare, technology, travel, women's issues, music, movies and theater.

BMG is a business consulting group specializing in process and performance improvement. At BMG, I had the opportunity to work on many different writing assignments, from marketing to technical communications.
I am a contributing author to two books from BMG:

1999 — 2005 (6 years )
Before returning to my "English major" roots, I spent nearly 10 years in computer desktop/server support, including six years at the City of Boulder where I worked my way up to QA Manager. I enjoyed working directly with customers to solve their issues and earn their trust on behalf of IT. I also enjoyed producing the department newsletter and managing various communications to keep IT's customers in the loop.

March 1996 — November 1998 (2 years 9 months)
At KidSmart, I began in Provider Services where I was responsible for writing the company newsletter and various marketing materials. Later, I transitioned into IT and became the LAN administrator for a single domain, 15-user NT network. Before leaving, I documented all server and system procedures in a 70-page training manual for my co-workers.
