Team Effectiveness Coach, Personal Coach, Editor and Open Space Conference Facilitator
Mannheim Area, Germany
Got a stumbling block that keeps tripping you up? What's keeping you and your team from hitting high gear?
I energetically help individuals and teams produce better outcomes by improving their work habits. As coach, team lead and analyst I have actively addressed teams' most pervasive problems, collaborating with management and team members to apply practices such as Lean Thinking, Scrum, Extreme Programming and Action Meetings. Experience has shown me that teams' toughest problems are often “people issues”, and so my focus has increasingly shifted toward team-building and facilitation, including use of the Scrum Agile project management methodology, Agile Work, and the Open Space meeting methodology.
Most recently I have been teaching Agile, coaching organisations in their switch to the Scrum project-management method, and doing remedial work with teams already using Agile. No single development approach can guarantee success, but by maintaining frequent "inspect-and-adapt" cycles, an Agile approach been proven to deliver useful software in a way that customers can quickly appreciate. In the past I have worked with both traditional software lifecycle methods and Agile approaches: Scrum, RUP, FDD (Feature Driven Development), XP and Test-Driven Development.
I also work with individuals, particularly Agile coaches, helping them identify and address their own stumbling blocks and move into innovation, via telephone coaching.
From March 9th 2009, following a move to Germany, I work in Europe and still travel internationally.
