I'm a creative writer of prose and songs, a producer of music, audio and video. I develop and promote online media. I've just devised produced and launched John Cleese's Headcast video download website - http://headcast.co.uk
Short list of key events:
Exhibited at New Contemporaries at the ICA in London 1983, 1984. Released my first songs 1987 (Virgin Records). Continued to make art, write, perform and release music since then.
Internet: Put audio and video online in 1994 (Southern.com), BBC Radio 1's first internet / radio simulcast (1995) and Res Rocket Surfer, the world's first internet band (member, website). Streamed audio from the rap stage, Notting Hill Carnival (1996).
Devised street and online campaign for UK Govt. Drugs Awareness (1997) Concept and production, Amnesty International UK's first CD Rom "Just Right" (1999-2000). Produced Vince Clarke's millenium night "Shed Show" December 31st 1999.
Under a pseudonym, wrote Blog of Funk (peak: 4.5m hits annually, 250k regular readers).
Started Small Pictures, initially to produce media for John Cleese (2004) and Talking Voices, the first UK podcast production company (2006).
I've been closely involved with the international podcaster community - I'm a co-founder of the UK Podcasters Association, and was Chairman from 2006-2008.
In 2007 I judged the podcast category of the AOP Awards, and in 2008 I judged the podcast category of the Sony Radio Awards.
I wrote a chapter on podcasting for Professor Vito Di Bari's excellent book "Web 2.0" (Professionisti24, 2007 ISBN 13: 978-88-8363-880-0)
Aside from this, I have been involved in many underground creative music and art projects which space does not allow me to list here.

I initiated and took part in many "interruptive" performance art events in public places; I wallpapered trees in a piece entitled "Camouflaging Trees from Further Attack", I dressed people as postage parcels and invaded Kings Cross station, and I distributed "free money" (pro-ecology propaganda) at many performances and festivals.

A great creative partnership, now evolved into two businesses. Netcast Ltd (still running) pioneered live audio streaming, August 1996 netcasting the Radio 1 Rap stage from the Notting Hill Carnival. Live streamed Vince Clarke and his videos from a Shed December 31st 1999. Working with DJs in Switzerland and UK set up an early social media website www.djpool.ch 1998 - 2003.
