Security Officer/LEED Project Administrator
Charlotte, North Carolina Area
I am a LEED Accredited Professional for Operations & Maintenance (LEED AP O+M) and hope to find opportunities to work on LEED Operations & Maintenance projects or Facility Management.
My professional experience spans the areas of security, Free/Open Source Software, pastoral ministry, and more recently, sustainability. I am currently the project administrator for a LEED EBO&M project (since 2008), and play a significant role in a local air quality improvement program.

Recommendation from Facility Manager (not a Linked-In member):
"During the past 10 years, Don Parris has demonstrated an enthusiastic interest for the Internet and other computer related issues. A forward thinking person, Don introduced our associates, on his own time, to the internet and its potential for the business community in 1996.
Don has also assisted me and my staff in ways that would normally have required our in-house computer support. He has helped to streamline our service request process by developing our intranet site. I'm impressed with Don's initiative to step out and pen his thoughts of free/open source software into a book, "Penguin in the Pew."
