Project Manager at Net Perspective
Bryan/College Station, Texas Area
I'm a Web Developer who's primary focus is in the LAMP software stack (PHP), however I have experience in a multitude of other languages ranging from C to C++, C#, Java, and Python.
Currently I'm the Project Manager (going on Director of Technology) at my company, Net Perspective, working on making sure nothing falls apart and we stay up to date on our tools and practices.
I keep up to date with the latest news and developments concerning PHP, as well as follow blogs that teach me scalability and optimization techniques. Just because I don't have the money or privilege to work on high performance architectures does not mean I can't continue to learn and apply the techniques to everything I do.
I firmly support open source whether it be releasing as many tools as I can under the MIT license or contributing to open source applications where possible.
Currently I work with PHP, MVC Frameworks, MySQL, Apache (standard LAMP), along with modern AJAX front ends, etc.
In the past I've done work in ASP 2.0, MSSQL, VisualBasic, C++ (mainly GNU tools), and Java.
