I am a Product Manager for Windows Server and Virtualization at Microsoft Brasil. My responsibilities include manage and create strategies in order to make sure Microsoft is a key player at datacenter infrastructure, covering scenarios such as authentication, security, management, basic infrastructure and virtualization. Due my technical background, I am able to discuss technically with our customers and propose the best solution, based on their needs. Moreover, as I've worked for several companies, I've a deep understanding of our mainly competitors. In my marketing strategy plans, I am responsible to provide guidance to customers, partners and technical community. Also, I am in charge to support Sales and PR teams in Windows Server and Virtualization subjects.
I am a MCSE and MCSA on Windows Server 2000 / 2003 and 2008. I've been working on IT career since 1996, in the last years getting specialized on high availability solutions for IT infrastructure and Internet solutions for enterprise customers. I've been taken part on several network projects, including operating systems and directory services migration and implementation, webfarms implementations, virtualization projects, security analysis, interoperability, etc.
I am a speaker on several brazilian Microsoft events, such as Teched Brazil, Technet Briefings, Live Show and international events, such as Teched US 2008. My mission as IT Pro Evangelist: help our customers and partners and ITPro community to explore our new solutions and products and take advange of Microsoft platform. Due my job, I am a community guy, in touch every minute with IT community using online (blogs, webcasts, foruns, user groups, writing technical articles) and offline (technical events, round tables, customer meetings) channels.
