With more than 27 years of experience in business development, public administration, marketing, social media software and consulting, I am an active player in a major transformation process underway in business and in government. And while the transformation underway may still be young, it is a force that will forever change how relationships are created, managed and mature. For those organizations that get it, adopt it and use it, they will thrive.
I have enjoyed a diverse career in both the public and private sectors. My success and contributions come from being a deciated, high performance executive with a strong orientation in business processes and strategic direction.
My knowledge in enterprise collaboration, social media, content management solutions, and social networking tools are rooted in a strong foundation built from a proven track record in conventional communication and senior management surrounding citizen engagement, customer/constituent relationships, marketing and PR and business development.
I’ve been an active participant and experienced advisor in social media/Web 2.0 technology and strategic communication. In my last position at the award winning Software Company, Neighborhood America, I managed the company’s external relationships with public sector customers, national organizations, and private vendors. As the company engineered its solutions for Web 2.0, I was charged with developing the strategic direction for our public sector build.
I like to work with public and private organizations and stakeholders to help them capture and leverage the value of their networks -citizens, consumers and employees- and to grow those relationships and profit from them in rapidly changing environments.
Specialties include constituent and stakeholder relationship management; communication strategies; public affairs management; public and media relations; knowledge and content management; Web 2.0 strategies, evaluations and tactics; and, organizational transformation
