I have more than twenty years experience in the software security industry on three continents and have held senior and middle management roles in support, product development, product marketing, IT and operations.
Specialising in emerging IT technologies I've always been on the bleeding edge of internet communication and networking technologies, from bulletin boards to email, IM and to social networking.
Born in the UK and now also an Australian citizen, I left the UK as Head of Product Management for Dr Solomon’s(McAfee) to setup Dr Solomon's North American operations in Boston, USA as VP Operations & Customer Service.
I moved to Australia as Marketing Manager for a small Australian distributor and took up the role as Regional Manager for Symantec Security Response in 1997 before joining MessageLabs as Technical Director in 2003.
Most recently setting up Cleartext (2005), to focus on managed services in email, IM and Web security, and application hosting in the collaboration and social networking area.
