Dawn Crigger is currently the Director of Operations and Park Services of the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC) in Blacksburg, Virginia. The CRC is a research park located adjacent to the Virginia Tech Campus that houses more than 135 high-tech research and development businesses and employs over 2,000 people. Dawn is responsible for evolving and implementing the strategic and operational plans and programs of the CRC in a manner consistent with its mission and initiating communications among tenants of the CRC and industry contacts to facilitate networking, beneficial connections, and effective communications with the technology community.
Dawn has over 12 years experience in business, human resource, and real estate management for Virginia Tech, the Virginia Tech Foundation, and the CRC. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Radford University and a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Dawn has been named one of the “Top 20 under 40” business leaders in the region by the Blue Ridge Business Journal.
A strong community supporter, Dawn currently serves as a Board Member for United Way of Montgomery, Radford, and Floyd and has served as Chair of Community Investment for the past two years. She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Association of University Research Parks, and the Association of University Real Estate Officials. Dawn is also an Aerobics Instructor for the Town of Christiansburg Recreation Department.
