Since founding Stanard Design Partners in 2001, Davis Stanard has worked with some of Cincinnati's leading corporations and institutions, including Kao Brands, Great American Financial, LasikPlus, the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau, Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, Findlay Market, the Cincinnati Art Museum, Duke Energy Convention Center, and the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), among others.
Davis's work has been recognized nationally, most recently with the featuring of the Cincinnati USA CVB site (CincyUSA.com) as the Adobe Site of the Day, the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Blacksmith Award for Best Web Site, and the W3 Silver award for Space513.com. Davis' work was also honored by the American Marketing Association's selection of Cincinnati USA CVB as the "Marketer of the Year".
In addition to his expertise in interactive design and development, Davis has extensive experience in brand development and print design. Prior to founding Stanard Design Partners, Davis worked with Lippincott Mercer in New York City, the oldest corporate identity firm in the nation. He also managed MIT's Capital Campaign branding and marketing efforts while working as an Art Director at Korn Design in Boston, for which he received the Gold CASE Award. Davis has also taught at the University of Cincinnati's DAAP Design program since 2002. In 2004, Davis participated in a design research project developed through the University of Cincinnati and Proctor & Gamble focusing on Nonverbal Communication techniques. Davis graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP).
