I'm a Senior Oracle Project Manager, CTO and lead solution architect living my passion.

I have over seven years of experience in database & information systems complete architecture design and as a database Consultant and Senior DBA from which three years in managing and directing IT database projects and leading teams in various complex and diverse enterprise-level environments.

One of my more recent projects included tuning one of the world's largest telco billing databases running on a massively parallel HP Itanium-based Superdome.

My experience includes leading and directing IT projects and teams, providing end-to-end infrastructure solutions (network, storage, software, database, systems,etc), designing sophisticated architectures, designing and supporting critical 24X7 Oracle systems, planning and implementing complex RAC & DRP solutions, extensive architecture-wide, instance level and statement level performance tuning (including one of the world's largest realtime cellular billing databases), securing and hardening Oracle databases, MSSQL and Linux systems, implementing database firewalls, designing storage, growth and backup strategies, scripting in several languages, building BI frameworks using Business Objects and Cognos and supporting large development teams for schema modeling and PL/SQL code design.

While I'm an Oracle person foremost, I also have considerable experience with IBM DB2 LUW, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
