BIOLOGY
My professional experience spans nearly a decade in environmental compliance, biological resource assessment, identification, and restoration. I have prepared numerous biological reports and assessments to document compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California Department of Fish and Game Codes, Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), and federal and state Endangered Species Act. I have extensive knowledge of the sensitive habitats, plants, and wildlife of the Southwest. I have conducted focused surveys for rare plants, desert tortoise, Coachella Valley fringe-toed lizard, coastal California gnatcatcher, burrowing owl, least Bell’s vireo to name a few.

I have been able to work on a wide-range of projects including military installations, railroads, roads, utilities, public works, and private, commercial, residential development. As a Wildlife Biologist/Ecologist/GIS Technician I have been able to work closely with planners, engineers, lawyers, GIS, construction I have been able to foster and maintain successful working relationships with regulatory agencies, resources specialist, and colleagues that are essential to a successful project.
