I am currently a Senior Software Engineer at ACN where I am working on the development and extension of the current business web applications, back office applications, and representative support applications.
My expertise is really much wider than the category suggests. I am a writer as well as a software engineer, and while I work for a IT based technology company (ACN) I also create software on my own for my own company Celtic Cross Engineering and perform internet marketing and writing activities under McKee Copywriting.
My experience spans 25 years and a dozen software languages, a bunch of operating systems, and untold applications mostly in the telecom arena. I have also performed technical writing activities for these same industries.
Architect, Development, and Design of software (Pascal, Basic, Fortran, Ada, perl, C, C++, Java, PHP, JavaScript etc.) for the telecommunications and Internet industry.
Technical writing of user manuals, recommendations, help text, specifications, etc. especially with regard to government (2167-A) type specs.

Was hired directly by the founder of the company (John Cocula) as a Senior Software Developer directly involved in the creation, design and development of the world’s first Business Service Management (BSM) software product. I have worked on most technology areas of the Managed Objects flagship product (Formally “Formula” ™). Specific tasks performed included the creation of several adapters to other technologies that allow the collection of infrastructure data (CI’s) into Managed Objects. This included such technologies as JNLP to launch remote collection agents, RMI, CORBA, JNI (to C++ applications), etc. Most of the data gathered was in the form of various XML documents, some requiring transformation via XSLT.
Designed and developed technology adapters that interface with network discovery tools such as Blade Logic, CA Unicenter, EMC Network appliances, etc. Worked on a proprietary Drools (Java Rule engine) based technology and N-Tier discovery tool.
