David has extensive experience in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, value selling, IT operational efficiency, and business alignment across multiple business functions and industries.
Prior to his career at Oracle, David held various Enterprise Architecture and strategy leadership roles at Ford, Intelligroup, and Accenture.
From a board leadership perspective, David currently serves on the Board of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business and is a board member of the ND Alumni Club of Detroit. David is President of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) focused on building world-class information technology and business leaders. David is also Chairman of the Michigan Republican National Hispanic Assembly.
David is President Emeritus of National Society of Hispanic MBAs’ Detroit Chapter, where he received the 2006 Executive of the Year Award. David is also a member of the IrishAngels Angel Investor network.
From a civic and community perspective, David was Coalition Chair for Gubernatorial Candidate Dick DeVos and Founder and Chair for the 3rd consecutive Notre Dame Business School Retreat “Strengthening the Spirituality within our Leadership”. David was listed as 2009 Hispanic Business Magazine's 100 Most Influential Leaders in American and featured in BusinessWeek as part of its MBA “Day in the Life” Series. Additionally, David received the 2007 HACR (www.hacr.org) Young Corporate Achiever Award.
David earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (#1 US News and World Report), and his M.B.A. from the University Notre Dame (Cum Laude) where David also received the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Award. David also completed the NACD and Harvard Business School Corporate Governance programs.
