I started as a graphic designer and Illustrator In college back in the early nineties (these were the days of the big camera, hot wax machines and ruby lithe).
I jumped into Photoshop @ V 3.0 and managed to balance my love of graphics and the web by managing one of the first internet cafes in Seattle and color blocking comics for DC when things were slow.
In late 90’s I worked in IT as the on-call tech for a Dr. referral company in Seattle that was later acquired by AMR/AMP and moved to Dallas.
I instead opted to move to TN to work for an Audio Video production company.
Here I served as Creative Director and helped to maintain their web presence, build their brand and manage their design department.
Early 2k I relocated back to Seattle to stay close to technology.
In 2004 I returned to college to study application development in order to expand on my work skill for existing clients. In the process I found great interest in HFI and UX design.
I tend to work a great deal with companies in the tech sector. I just recently completed a contract with Microsoft in which I had a great deal of experience in usability study over the past year.
I also belong to the Technical Advisory Committee at Seattle Central Community College. On occasion I teach courses in web and flash as part of the IT web Degree program.

I have over a decade of experience in pulling espresso. I am trained in a more classic Italian pull but have worked for more commercial and American companies in my past. I have loyal fans and take espresso and the barista craft seriously. I enjoy amazing coffee and would never intentionally subject any customers to anything less than perfection. My favorite coffee's seldom come from the big chains...but the smaller houses that maintain better quality control.
