I'm an award-winning writer and editor who has worked for almost two decades covering a wide range of digital technologies and markets. My content experience spans both Web and print media, and business and editorial operations.
I currently work on the editorial team of ZDNet.com's The Apple Core blog, which covers the Mac market. Previously, I served as a Contributing with eWEEK, a Ziff Davis Media IT-focused news publication and site, and covered storage and enterprise Macintosh applications as well as some general assignment reporting.
Before then, I held several executive spots at eWEEK. In addition, I launched Ziff Davis' Storage Supersite and was the news editor and Executive Editor/News of Ziff Davis Internet.
In 1999, I moved into the branding arena, working at several Silicon Valley startups as marketing communications director at Miro Displays and TeVeo, an Internet video startup.
From 1992 to 1999, I held a number of positions at MacWEEK, Mac Publishing LLC's trade newsweekly aimed at IT managers of sites using the Macintosh. I was Editor of eMediaweekly, its successor, which covered professional multiplatform content creation.
For a good number of years, I worked at the San Francisco State University Library acquisitions department. Perhaps you remember me from my tenure as shop steward for the CSEA Union chapter, a local of the AFL-CIO.
Currently, I serve on the board of trustees of Congregation Beth Israel-Judea in San Francisco.
