David Manheim is a Risk Analyst with RMS. He has experience using and explaining complex mathematical models, automating business processes, and explaining and following complex legal guidelines as they apply in both financial and legal settings. His academic background is in abstract mathematics and financial modeling.
David has had particular success with reevaluating and simplifying processes to reduce or eliminate low value added manual work. His background in programming and innovative approach to business problem solving using various programming languages has allowed him to produce simpler and more detailed reports for use by upper management.
Outside of his financial services role, David was active in various volunteer capacities. He served on the board committee for training at the 300 member Red Cross team at Credit Suisse, which facilitated an additional 150 employees taking classes enabling them to volunteer in mass care for New York in the event of an emergency, and facilitating the offering of more advanced courses to team members.
David worked for the FTC as a college intern in their summer legal intern program, working on several fraud investigations. He also served as director of web development for the Georgia SIDS project, managing its web presence and developing and deploying sites including online payment systems for non-profit fundraising and interactive bereavement support training for nursing professionals.
David has always been willing to take a leading role in various capacities. He was also the editor of the school’s newspaper, and served as a class representative for student government. Since graduation he serves on the board of Lander College’s Alumni Council as secretary, and volunteers with the Red Cross, among other volunteer activities.

Georgia SIDS Project is a non-profit organization that runs bereavement support programs for families as well as training and seminars for the health community on various SIDS related topics. While there, I was responsible for maintenance of the web site, updating the monthly newsletters, development of a new web based training architecture, and online registration and payment system for several conferences and events.

I interviewed consumers on a variety of ongoing cases and, based on review of relevant legal code, documented legal infractions for a number of ongoing cases involving consumer fraud, credit reporting, and FTC Act violations.
