Host and produce a three-hour radio show called “In Your Ear …” (since 1999 on KCIA, CalArts). Playing a variety of music from classical and world to jazz and punk to rock and pop. The show also involves taking live requests on the phone from listener call-ins. This radio show broadcasts locally at 90.1FM Stanford, CA and worldwide on the Internet at http://kzsulive.stanford.edu/. Been the chief sound engineer for various Stanford University on-campus events, engineering local live bands presented by KZSU 90.1FM. Along with helping with the general organization of the station and help with the training of new staff at KZSU with the On-Air equipment and show content. I also close down and open the KZSU 90.1FM radio station on occasion by turning on / off transmitter when needed.

Also, am one of a couple On-Air radio show broadcast trainers that help instruct new staff members to KZSU in how to operate the proper equipment during their show, show presence while broadcasting, and proper cataloging of recorded shows / playlists.

David played Moog synthesizer in the music ensembles of Wadada Leo Smith and Vinny Volia respectively. He also explored the dynamics of improvisation performance and the correlation with daily living. He primarily studied music with Wadada Leo Smith, Vinny Golia, John Bergamo, and David Rosenboom. He also continued his prominent interest with creative collaboration in modern dance and music with Mort Subotnick.
