Partnered with ABRY Partners on the acquisition of F+W, grew eMedia revenues, integrated a set of disparate existing businesses and built a platform for future growth.

• eMedia traction-- built share of magazine division revenues generated online from 5% in 2005 to more than 12% in 2007, or 250%
• Streamlined and efficient organization with $7M lower cost base including significant supply chain and overhead savings. Turned three separate book businesses into an integrated division with a single powerful sales organization and unified fulfillment and distribution. Created an integrated company out of a group of disparate acquisitions
• Much improved talent and leadership team including new leaders as President of Magazines, President of Books, EVP Interactive Media, VP Circulation, Magazine Publishers, Book Publishers, CFO, Controller, etc..
• Successful resolution of lawsuit with Providence Equity Partners

He managed the integration of TVSM (a cable and satellite guide publisher) which broadened the TV Guide print portfolio by adding a large format weekly guide, a monthly satellite guide and a monthly cable guide.

He was instrumental in the launching of Martha Stewart Living in 1990, making it one of Time Inc.'s most successful magazine debuts. Responsible for more than 90% of company revenues including television, internet, magazine and books as well as many key corporate functions such as advertising sales and consumer and product marketing. Grew revenues by $40M while COO. Also led the launch of marthastewart.com, the first site to successfully integrate content, promotion and commerce. During his 8 year tenure MSO grew from $0 to $125M in revenues through launching a new business every year including magazines, television properties, a website, paint, books, catalog etc... He was also a key player in the February 1997 transition of the company from Time Warner to its current status as an independent corporation.
