Multimedia, Interactive and Interface Designer
United Kingdom
I am a multimedia designer with two years industry experience. I have studied a Bachelor of Multimedia Design at Swinburne University for three years, followed by a year of honours. I spent between 2005 - 2007 doing an industry placement, working as a junior designer at Citrus, an interactive marketing agency. Following this I began working freelance full time within a collective of designers in Melbourne. I have extensive skills in web design, interface and interactive design, motion graphics, video, print and photography using a range of software packages and operating platforms.
Web design, flash design and advanced actionscripting, coding and usability, motion graphics, video, print, photography, and an obsession with problem solving.

March 2007 — February 2008 (1 year)
I spent a year working within a collective of designers in a freelance environment. This has taught me to expand my skills within a ‘do-it yourself’ environment. It has expanded my knowledge of the business side of design, from managing clients, professionalism, reading, writing and planning briefs and delivering consistent results. At first I didn’t know how to write an invoice, but now I feel comfortable communicating as a designer, especially to people who are not from a design background.

November 2005 — February 2007 (1 year 4 months)
My industry placement taught me so many skills in design, from software packages to time management skills over my time in the program. I had not previously worked in a studio, and found the experience both intimidating and invigorating. When I returned to study my honours, I felt I had a knowledge base to work with that I previously would not have had, and I met and worked with so many great people while producing outcomes that pushed my personal design boundaries while still giving clients a great deliverable.
2004 — 2007
