Musician with over thirty years of experience as a classically-trained composer, arranger, performer, and music journalist.
Collaborations and performances include: Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, Afghan pop music legend Ehsan Aman, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra (Czech Republic), PJ Veyvanovsky Symphony Orchestra (Czech Republic), Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic (Connecticut), Bulgarian Esperanto Choir, Master Singers of Virginia, and the Peabody Wind Ensemble (Baltimore, Md.); conductors Kirk Trevor, Harlan Parker, Viktor Kozanek, Salvatore Princiotti, and Vit Micka; performers Marx Cox (professor of tuba, Central Michigan University), Eileen Meyer Russell (professor of trombone, Southwestern University), Robert Kozanek (principal trombone, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra), James DeJoie (Seattle area baritone saxophonist), Darel Stark (assoc. principal 2nd violin, Honolulu Symphony Orchestra), and Double Play (flute and tuba duo).
Commercial orchestral and concert band recordings are available on the MMC Recordings and Verda Stelo Music labels; a CD/digital download album of chamber music is scheduled to be released in 2010 on the Navona Records label.
Have also conducted interviews with Ian Anderson and Martin Barre of Jethro Tull, Daryl Stuermer of Genesis, Michael Dunford of Renaissance, and pianist Liz Story resulting in feature stories published in the Washington Times and other Washington, D.C. area periodicals.
