I am on a great adventure. My vision is a coach in every business. My purpose is to help people change the way they think.
Fulfilling my purpose helps my vision become a reality. The big benefit will improve businesses, create more jobs and dramatically grow our economy. This is vital to our future, so we need more coaches.
First, about me...
I am an Iowa boy and the oldest of eight kids. I am the son of a serial business owner. I learned many lessons from my large family and our family business. These experiences influence me today as a franchise business owner, coach recruiter, leadership trainer and public speaker.
As a University of Northern Iowa alum (Go Panthers!), I majored in music, accounting and graduated with a Broadcasting degree. College is where I discovered my passion for lifelong learning.
My career includes working in radio, print, ad agencies, media research and for MDA and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. Today I own two businesses.
I am the past president of the Master Coaches Association and an active Rotarian. I am the special music guy for my church, photographer for the Kennedy High School band and I chair the Mount Mercy University golf tournament. I like being involved.
I have two sons, two very active grandsons and I am blessed to be married to my very best friend. I love spending time with my family, traveling, golf, singing, photography and college sports.
My mission in life is to “To glorify God by helping people achieve their dreams!" I help people figure out where they are, where they want to go and then a plan to get them there. Coaching people makes their dreams happen. This process really gets me jazzed!
The market is demanding more coaches so we need to add 10-12 new coaches to my firm in 2012. This is my 'great adventure.'
