David has been involved in innovative software development since the late 1970s, real-time software development in the 1980s and early 1990s and, since the late 1980s, the development of telecommunications standards. He is also an expert on telecommunications numbering resources such as MIN, IRM, IMSI, ESN, MEID, UIMID and SID. He has a side interest in software and database development, both in computer protocols and speciality systems to manage data and enhance productivity. He was written extensively on wireless issues, with a unique ability to put complex technical issues in language anyone can read and understand.
