Started taking pictures at the age of 15 and got my first camera. In 1995, while in the first year of painting in art school and attending photography classes in Ar.Co (Lisbon), decided to focus in photography. This went well with my passion and delight in travel, discovering in both a perfect match.
Began freelancing in 1997 after completing the basic studies photography program in Ar.Co - Art & Visual Communication Centre in Lisbon.
Now as a freelance photographer can dedicate time to developing photo essays aiming all aspects of life, with special interest in social issues incorporating the simple and documentary approach.
Have traveled extensively across Asia, Central Asia, Middle East and Africa, in over 55 countries.
Available for freelance assignments and commissioned corporate work.
Editorial, Travel, Documentary, Photo Essay, Reportage, Corporate imaging.
