Dedicated to the vision of sustainable enterprise/social entrepreneurship. Projects with which I have been involved: biodiesel in Tonga, portable ‘pharmacies’ in rural Ghana, and breastfeeding promotion programs in Cambodia. Independently started blogging about a certain mechanism of social enterprise called microfranchising. Member of winning team of a Social Venture Competition at BYU.

Reconstructing data systems and processes for the revenue side of a complex international organization. Additionally splitting time to promote the concept of the Citizen Base and marketing Ashoka's new website www.citizenbase.org. Reaching out to Ashoka Fellows, the Ashoka Community, the blogging community and the social sector at large.

Graduate degree at Brigham Young University. My research/project activities have involved: Market research for microfranchises selling health products in rural Ghana in conjunction with MFI's and Freedom from Hunger; a social business venture in Tonga making biodiesel from farmers coconuts and jatropha seeds; survey research in Cambodia evaulating the impact of a breastfeeding promotion program; and survey research in Cambodia on the health status of children within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to guide their humanitarian efforts.
