With more than fifty U.S. patents granted and many more pending my passion is to create products within the "white space" of technology capabilities and user acceptance. My expertise is in consumer products and services with a focus on the user experience around connected appliances and multimedia sharing throughout the home.

For example, with several hours of live programming from the CES show floor, I work with both producers and other talent, as I too am a host, explaining these products to millions of television viewers.

With the majority of users carrying standard mobile phones, (not the smartphones that early adopters carry) this service gives basic SMS capable phones the ability to send short and quick input capability into the short code 59479.
These requests can be used to create lists or reminders that show up at your computer email in-box or in a rich interface via RSS feed that provides a single click into search, shopping or other sites.
The service also brings "agent tasks" like Netflix, TiVo, Yelp, Amazon or other third party sites to add movies to queues, items to wish lists, etc. With Kwriy, a single text message like "TiVo Nova" or "Netflix Casablanca" can complete your request via their SMS to web agent.
This company was closed at the end of April, 2009 and its intellectual property and code has been purchased by Wabco, LLC.

I developed a roadmap of devices to take the company into other product lines to stream images, surveillance and audio entertainment from Internet or local networks. As "chief problem solver" I used my skills and years of industry contacts to bring in suppliers and vendors that could provide solutions to hardware and software issues that arose during the development of the three second-generation Slingbox products.
To help educate both end-users and the industry, I spoke at a number events and was a lively participant on dozens of panels and symposiums. Finally, I was a liaison between marketing and engineering, helping to build a better product and new vertical applications like the KPIX CBS 5 camera network.
