After 12 as an on-air sportcaster, I'm trying something new...it's called MediaLinkup.com. It's a networking and job placement site for people who work in the media. The site will debut in late June 2009 and is open to everyone in tv, radio, public relations, internet and print.
All aspects of dealing with the media, public relations, sales and preparing a broadcast for air.

Anchored and reported sports on the NBC affiliate in Memphis. Shot, wrote and editing hundreds of stories for air. Covered the Memphis Tigers in 5 NCAA Tournaments, the Grizzlies in 3 NBA Playoffs, the Titans run to the Super Bowl in 2000. Hosted a 30 minute sports show for five years. Had a streak of 8 straight years without missing a day of work.

I worked at CNN-Sports Illustrated in Atlanta for two years in the late 1990's. I began as an editor, watching games and cutting highlights. In my second year, I was given the opportunity to write, produce and voice national sports segments on CNN Headline News.
