Dave Carpenter is a prolific author, inspiring speaker, and well-known consultant to professional service firms.
After a distinguished career at the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers), Dave launched Partners for Market Leadership, a consulting firm that assists professional service firms in developing sustainable market leadership. Clients range from boutiques to some of the market leaders, in fields such as law, accounting, consulting, and executive search. His work for these firms ranges from business planning to executive training to mentoring of partners. The focus of his consulting is frequently on generating new business and/or enhancing client service.
Although best known for his years of consulting to leading professional service firms and their partners, Dave Carpenter's passion is helping people to be the very best that they can be. In 2007, he was named the Exceptional Wisdom scholar on personal peak performance, and he hosts a weekly radio show on that subject on Exceptional Wisdom Radio. He is also the author of the popular blog, Prospering in Tough Times.
Much of Dave’s consulting work involves advising professional firms focused on building market leading Restructuring practices. Having distinguished himself during the 25 years he spent on the front lines of the restructuring world, Dave now works exclusively behind the scenes to help leading firms improve the marketing and operations of their Restructuring practices. He is the author of the insightful blog about the Restructuring profession, Restructuring 2.0.
