Technical Leader at Hewlett-Packard
Brazil
I work as a Software Engineer since year 2000, mainly with Java Platform and Web development.
I am working at HP Computers, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. HP gave me the chance to work in 10+ different projects and acquire experience and maturity.
Currently, my roles are "Technical Leader" and Software Architect in a Remote Printing Management Solution for Window CE.
This is a very challenging system due to the resource limitations of Windows CE.
I have designed and leaded the development of a embedded web server, a MVC Framework and a Web Services Framework, based on Windows Communication Foundation.
In 2002 I have created the PortalJava.com, one of the biggest Java online communities of Brazil, with more than 35.000 thousand Java developers.
In 2007 I was named the JUG Leader of the RSJUG, the Java Users Group of my State.
In the past I have developed web applications for Credit Card Management, Management of the buildings of the Brazilian government, Data Mining and Marketing tools, Human Resources management and Duty management, also for the government.
My area of Interest are Content Management Systems and Automated Trading. I have been developing an Open Source CMS since year 2002.
Lately I have been using my free time to learn about Automated Trading, Genetic Programming, Cloud Computing and Neural Networks for Financial Markets.
My current professional goal is to move to Australia and in and Agile Company.
I am a technology enthusiast, I like to learn new frameworks and contribute with Open source projects in my free time.
In addition, I believe my main skill is the ability to solve problems quickly, due to my exposition to several real world problems and solutions.
