VP at Interstate Screw Corp and Part Owner
Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area
I worked my way up through the company at Interstate and participated in many industry organizations and still do. I've attended many training classes, and as such have developed a vast wealth of knowledge about our industry and related industries. Our logo is "The Screw King" and some people tell me, it's an appropriate name for me.
Purchasing. International Negotiations. IT. FASPAC. Inventory. Technical Applications.

October 1993 — Present (16 years 2 months)
This is a fan-based website that I run. It's a compendium of all Florida Panthers related resources. It started as a listserver in 1993, then went to the web a few years later. It now comprises not only the full site at http://www.panthershockey.net but an additional message board over at http://www.darsys.net/bbs/ where fans can discuss the team. In the fourth quarter of 2007 we began accepting sponsorships from related industries.

This is our family business and I am now part-owner of it. I started in sales, moved up to Purchasing, and then finally to VP. We've been in business over 51 years and we're famous in our industry. I am recognized expert in my fields here because of all the knowledge I've collected, the training I've received and taken, as well as being active in the industry. We sell a wide range of industrial fasteners and accessories as well as tools and such. Check our website out.

January 1980 — Present (29 years 11 months)
I am the owner, founder, and president of this software company. Although currently inactive, it's still open and most of our products have been made available for free download on our website. I still offer support for our products, some of which are over 25 years old and some which are much more recent. We did tons of different titles in consumer entertainment, database management, and VAR applications. We worked very closely with Apple DTS on many projects including helping them with the Apple IIc+ launch, GS/OS launch, among others. We also did a little bit of contract work for them as well. Apple still refers the random Apple II series technical call to us for assistance.

September 1994 — June 1997 (2 years 10 months)
I was a sports writer for the legendary LCS Guide To Hockey when it was an e-paper (dates approximate until I can find the details) writing a weekly column for them in-season covering the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). I really enjoyed it. They ultimately folded before reappearing as a web-based publication, but I was unable to rejoin them due to time constraints. Their new address is at http://www.lcshockey.com/ One of the most fun things I ever did.
BBA , 1987 — 1989
1983 — 1985
I went to Berkeley (GO BEARS) and am an alumni, officially. I've got my life time CAA card to prove it. However, my actual diploma is from University of Miami (GO CANES) because that's where I took my last few credits while I worked in the family business due to family health issues.

Reading, Writing, Sports, Hockey, Computers, Technology, and that's just to start. There are so many. Please, see my personal page on my website at http://www.darsys.com/main.html and knock yourself out if you really want to know.
Apple Computer, IEEE (Former), ACM (Former), IAAP (Former), again please, see my personal page on my website at http://www.darsys.com/main.html for more information.
See my website for a few mentions, but I am far too modest to brag here. It's unseemly.
