Darryl Wright’s Summary
Darryl Wright has been a developer and leader in the software industry for over 15 years. He's served in industries as diverse as telecommunications, government, finance and video games.
In 2001, Darryl finally left behind khakis and ties to enter the video game industry, the business which inspired him to explore computers as a child. His game career began with HB Studios in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia where he joined as one of 12 people and helped it to grow to well over 100 in less than a few years of very hard work and several very successful EA Sports titles. HB eventually opened a sister studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he moved as Technical Lead on the EA Sports NHL '09 project.
In 2008 Darryl left HB Studios to join Deep Fried Entertainment in Vancouver, British Columbia and in 2009 found his way to Electronic Arts Canada where he remains today.
