Darren Ferneyhough, together with business partner Michael Cooke, launched The Money Helper in late 2006 as a consumer oriented financial services provider offering end users simple, fuss-free and fast access to financial services products arranged remotely via telephone & email. Having previously founded, developed and sold B2B and B2C financial services businesses (www.premieruk.co.uk & www.themortgagehelper.co.uk), Darren's experience in IT & operational roles was leveraged to build streamlined systems, processes and infrastructure into the business to maximise customer experience & satisfaction as well as business profitability in the remote provision of non-investment financial services products.
Since the sale of Premier to the Tenet Group in 2004 and The Mortgage Helper to BDS Mortgage Group in 2005, and the smooth transition and successful integration and handover of these businesses to their new owners, Mike and Darren have continued to work as a partnership not only in the development of The Money Helper, but also as a consultancy team, in which capacity they have delivered insight, solutions, opportunities and value to a number of businesses within the financial services industry, and schedules permitting remain available to work on a consultancy basis for forward thinking businesses who see an opportunity to benefit from their knowledge, skills, experience and contacts.
