2005 — 2007 (2 years )
Rafael is the main R&D authority for the Israel Ministry of Defense. The Thermal Battery Plant in Rafael is an unique highly world wide recognized unit exporting most of its product to US, Europe and Asia.
As a general manager of the Thermal Battery Plant, I was in charge of all Marketing, R&D, engineering, operations, production and quality activities. During this period we reached production and sales highest records.
(Government Agency; Defense & Space industry)
2001 — 2005 (4 years )
During this period I led a multidisciplinary team of 20 engineers developing the core battery technology and high reliable battery products. The developed battery products gained world wide recognition and were distinguished as the state-of-the-art front of the technology. The high power batteries are being used in emergency systems, critical backup power and other unique applications, in the most sofisticated and reliable systems all over the world.
In addition, I was leading a R&D high qualified team developing new materials and disruptive processes for battery technology, going from the basic materials to the final production processes and testing, to create next battery generation.
