waSOUND is a mobile entertainment company. We specialize in providing DJ and MC services for weddings.
I started DJing when I was 18, and over the last 9 years I've turned that skillset into a brand and business. I've run all aspects and components of this small business, doing everything from marketing / sales to budgets and accounting. I've also hired and trained employees, and expanded my services into other wedding related offerings including decor and photobooth services.
Branding / Marketing - I've developed the brand that is waSOUND. This includes a coordinated and consistent presentation of all marketing materials including a vast web presence with various social media outlets. Comprehensive printed materials including business cards, brochures and flyers. And a vast array of branded merchandise including T-shirts and water bottles.
Sales / Presentation - I meet with every client in person or via phone and conduct a sales presentation about my services. I am passionate, professional, likeable, and always positive. I believe that is what contributes to my successful sales ability.
Training / Group Dynamics - I love working with others. I've hired and trained employees for various roles inside my company including photography, DJing, and administrative functions.
Adaptability / Problem Solving - As a DJ, or any person in the live event industry there are always fast moving pieces during an event. Having the ability to quickly solve problems and adapt to any situation is a must in order to be successful. Wether it's an upset mother of the bride, or a faulty cable, you need a solution, and you need one quick.
