I am a graphic designer, art director, production artist and photo retoucher with 25 years experience. In addition to owning my own graphic design business I have art directed and designed for several design offices and advertising agencies.

My goal is to assist individual graphic designers, design agencies and commercial businesses on a per job/freelance "overflow" basis. I am however, available for on-site part-time/full-time positions as well. My primary focus is print media, although I often create editorial content and graphics for web pages.

Dan Levin’s Specialties:

Advertising layout and collateral design, editorial/magazine layout, catalog layout/production, logo/identity developement, digital photo retouching, basic product photography, art direction/consulting.
Proficient in PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator and Quark. Some knowledge of basic html. Mac based since 1984.

PRIORITY: To work within budget constraints while consistently meeting deadlines and satisfying “end use” goals. 24 hour "turnarounds" are not a problem.

Responsibilities included working with the owner/creative director to implement and execute a wide range of graphic design and advertising related projects as well as oversee other graphic designers and production artists in a fast-paced environment. In addition to my involvement in the preliminary concept stages and "roughs", I also interfaced with clients while overseeing production, revisions and pre-press through to press checks. I also art directed photography sessions for both models and products. Clients included Hersheys, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Shasta Beverages.
