strategic consultant/head of social media at Chameleon PR
Bristol, United Kingdom
I am a Public Relations (PR) consultant with more than 10 years consultancy and in-house experience. I work for technology companies with consumer and business audiences and joined Chameleon PR in December 2005. Before Chameleon, I worked on the Skype PR team as the company progressed from internet start-up to global business with over 58 million internet telephony callers and through eBay buying Skype for $2.6 billion - one of the biggest start-up technology company buyouts ever. I was appointed head of social media at Chameleon in September 2006. The first thing I recommended was for Chameleon to join the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), a global body that promotes ethical guidelines for companies engaging in social media. I am responsible for advising and helping implement social media strategies for Chameleon’s clients.
