Daniel Nicolescu’s Summary
Ever since the beginning of my career, I've been technical manager, coordinating the technical team in order to answer the clients' requirements. I joined GECAD family in 2002 and starting with 2005 I've been CTO (Chief Technical Officer) of Avangate. Given my position and the fact that I've been with Avangate ever since the platform was just an idea on a piece of paper, I know how, why and what "all the buttons do" in Avangate ecommerce platform.
My deep knowledge of Avangate, among other aspects, determined me to leave Europe for USA in August 2008, to become Business Development Manager for the US Avangate office. My main concerns in this new position are generating leads, creating new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships.
Moving forward, having the Silicon Valley and US market experience, I took over the Chief Product Officer position for company products.
