Danielle Ricks’s Summary
As a Social Media Specialist I help corporations expand their brand awareness and online presence through websites, blogs, podcasts, social networking, photo/video sharing, online bookmarking, etc. I also help organizations transition from traditional forms of communication to emerging New Media and Social Media technologies. Using online media tools, I develop marketing plans to implement Social Media campaigns that build relationships, strengthen customer service, and increase brand recognition. Because the digital space is still new so many people, I also train companies on how to best use Social Media tools for their business and/or departments.
While navigating through the digital space, I also run a small, boutique production company made up of freelancers that provide exceptional media support. With over 25 years in the business, I have produced for several local and national networks as well as a number of cable outlets. To compliment my broadcast production skills I have several years experience producing live, theatrical, special events. As a result I am able to develop programs that are creative, targeted, measurable and memorable.
My expertise lies in senior level management focusing on organizational, written, and interpersonal skills that have allowed me to manage video productions, promotional events, and sponsorship procurement. I thrive in a fast paced environment where I often have to multitask between several projects but feel just as comfortable as an individual contributor working solo.
Throughout my professional life I've dedicated myself to bringing the audiences I produce for and the companies I work with, exceptional entertainment and innovative concepts. As I continue my career, my goal is to inform, involve, and inspire people through all forms of Social Media outlets that stimulate the senses and invoke provocative thinking.
