I've been part of the development of the Web since its early beginnings in 1991. I continue to be interested in the potential of the Web to transform commerce and society. I get involved with start-ups and open source projects that realize the Web's full potential.
I've worked with authors in the self-help and enlightenment industry (most notably, Jerry and Esther Hicks) as a partner or consultant to build online communities focused on self-growth and self-realization.
I'm a technologist who works to bridge the space between strategic vision, business practice, and software implementation. I've built web applications in Perl, Java, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. My current interests include RSpec, Merb, and SproutCore.
I'm particularly interested in practices and methodologies for concept development, rapid prototyping, and beta launch for early-stage start-ups.
I've been doing Internet marketing & building online communities since 1994.
