Daniel Fischer’s Summary
My professional experience is getting hired to do what I excel at: understanding and constructing the web.
I consider my role to be a jack-of-all-trades. I am great at designing, I am great at front-end development, I am great in back-end development. Overall, I have an expert skill set for the web.
A typical role for me on a project is helping a long with the entire development process.
I help in the beginning phases of the project to map out what should be done first to get the first version of the project out. From there I'll figure out what roles I should attain, it could be several at once. The two main ones are "designer", and "developer".
Once the planning stages are done, somewhere a long the way a design will be completed and I'll implement that design on an application with integration to the back-end functionality.
I will usually end up doing some back-end code for an application, however I like to leave the implementation of serious functionality to a guru programmer who does nothing but programming on a project.
Since I have a general skill-set, my role also includes monitoring the other team members and making sure the integrity of the project is solid on a overall level.
The internet is my passion, and my obsession. Because of this, I excel at what I do, and am an expert in my field.
