Currently based in San Francisco, California, Daniel Dura is a Platform Evangelist at Adobe focusing on Adobe AIR, Flex, and Flash. Before joining Macromedia (which merged with Adobe in 2005) Danny and his brother Josh founded Dura Media LLC, a Rich Internet Application development company based in Dallas, Texas. After joining Macromedia, Daniel was a lead developer of numerous projects including the AOL Instant Messenger for Macromedia Central and the Yahoo! Maps Flash API. He recently was a product manager on the Adobe AIR team focusing on platform validation and API design. Daniel has given presentations on Flash, Apollo, Flex and ActionScript all over the world to thousands of developers at user groups, meetings, and conferences.
