In my current position as Head of Marketing for xG Technology, Inc. I have played a key role in creating brand recognition and a position of industry leadership for the company. xG is a NASDAQ- listed developer of smart radio technologies that enable the deployment of private mobile broadband wireless networks for public safety, defense, critical infrastructure and other key sectors.

► Coordinate media outreach program with external public relations firm that targeted leading technical and business media. Garnered recognition for xG as an industry expert and secured coverage in publications including The New York Times, Fortune, Bloomberg, Business Week, and MIT Technology Review.
► Launched effective initiative to increase industry recognition which earned the company prestigious awards, including: Wireless Innovation Achievement 2011 finalist, Internet Telephony Product of the Year 2009 and Technology Innovation Award (2007, 2010).

The article discussed a pressing issue in the wireless communications industry: the management of finite radio frequency (RF) spectrum that is being impacted by the exploding consumption of mobile services.

professionals. I was asked to contribute an article explaining how cognitive radio network technology could help meet the demand for wireless capacity.
Business Insider is an online business website. I was asked to contribute an article that would explain, in layman's terms, the radio wave "crisis" that is occurring in the wireless industry. Essentially, the growing popularity of smartphones, tablets and other devices is creating a surge in demand for mobile data. This in turn is putting relentless pressure on wireless carriers and the government to find new sources of radio frequencies to accommodate the demand. One solution is through innovative technologies like cognitive radio systems like xMax that enable more efficient use of existing spectrum assets.
