Daniel O'Connor’s Summary

I'm a marketing copywriter.

My background is in languages and communication. I speak fluent Japanese and graduated with a French degree (you'll note I don't claim to be fluent in French! 18 years is a long time to neglect a language...).

I worked in Japan after graduating, initially as an English teacher. I've found that explaining myself in easy-to-understand English to 12-year-old Japanese schoolchildren uses the same brain software as getting pages of incredibly complex technical information and transforming it into something simple. So that's what I do now.

My aim is to build Daniboy to a level where I don't have to market myself anymore. Instead, I'll have a regular supply of work coming in and a roster of trusted clients. And that's going pretty well. The search engine optimisation I've done on the website also means that I'm getting lots of enquiries through Google. Lovely.
