I'm one of 3 partners in the firm AbellaTech, Inc. Our primary focus is Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing products and services.
Additionally, we also provide Staff Augmentation and Professional Recruiting Services.
One partner, Scott Dirig, and I lead the BI and Data Warehousing practice. Our partner, Bruce Lautzenhiser, leads the Staff Augmentation and Professional Recruiting Services practice.
I have 20+ years of IT experience covering a variety of industries and roles. I've worked extensively in insurance and financial services as well as manufacturing. I've covered the entire SDLC on mainframe, mini, web, and client server platforms. I've worked as a computer operator (remember those?) through IT manager for a $ 500 million dollar division of a publicly traded company.
Prior to creating AbellaTech, I was the IT manager for Steel Dynamics Columbia City division. I started with this divsion prior to the ground being purchased for the facility. Along with my business partner, Scott Dirig, we brought the facility up from a greenfield. We built all infrastructure, purchased and implemented all business applications.
I've been involved with the Cognos and Business Objects products for over 10 years. Now I assume the role as a vendor to provide these products and services to my customer.
