Devil's Canyon Brewing Company is a privately held brewery in Belmont Ca. The multi-award winning, hand crafted beers they produce are available in bars and restaurants in the California Bay Area.
As Head Brewer I am responsible for accurately brewing our beers and keeping the facility in order. The position also entails leading instructional sessions, developing marketing missions, analysis of business development opportunities and interaction with the public through face-to-face participation at various events in the Bay Area.
Strong industry knowledge and a positive, outgoing personality are critical to this role.

In his position I supervise editing, revising and publication of technical bulletins and other field related documentation from the US, Europe and Japan. In doing so, I have introduced new documentation control and dissemination techniques, established criteria and developed new metric information.
The position demands that significant initiative and resourcefulness in deviating from traditional methods to develop new documentation control methods, procedures and policies using contemporary technologies.
Additionally, I maintain various databases in order to accurately collect and improve documentation metrics as well as steer the Post Mortem process through meetings and Action Item follow up / reporting. The end goal being improvements to documentation, training and the parts supply system.
Having been at NPI for a number of years, I am often asked to take part in various projects in the company, the latest being the construction of a Corporate Taxonomy.

Assisted in the interface design of the next generation Nikon Enhanced System Technology Software program to be sold to customers worldwide and attended international training /review with site representatives from Taiwan. Japan, Germany, France and the United States.
Completely restructured the Nikon Software System in order to create a logical and efficient filing system for more dynamic and intuitive user interaction.
Created bug lists and internal documentation procedures resulting in the immediate resolution of severe issues at the customer site level, saving time and man-hours at the corporate level.
Currently manage all Advanced Engineering documentation for the United States and have started construction on a corporate website in order to better serve our customers.
Currently developing and teaching exceedingly technical training courses for employees and customers.
Expanding corporate role by taking over management of the Advanced Engineering hardware documentation system. System is being remodeled based on the design implemented for the software group.
Developing a new “Copy Exact” technique to be deployed nationwide. All customers (Lucent, HP, Intel, TI, Motorola, etc) will adopt the protocols in order to further reduce error and semiconductor equipment downtime
