A seasoned entrepreneur in product development and design, Dana was previously the Head of Product Development at OnForce responsible for the development and design of the company's innovative online field labor deployment and management platform. While at OnForce, he created a number of patent pending technologies and transformed the company's online tools into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Under his leadership, OnForce was nominated as a finalist for a Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Codie Award.
Prior to OnForce, Dana was Founder and Chief Architect at Primedia Software-on-Demand, where he created a Desktop SaaS delivery platform for K-12 schools. He also served in Lead Engineering roles at FareChase (now Yahoo! Travel) and IBM, and currently serves as the Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors of NYCwireless, a New York City-based non-profit organization that creates free, public wireless hotspots.

NYCwireless is a non-profit organization that advocates and enables the growth of free, public wireless Internet access in New York City and surrounding areas. NYCwireless, founded in 2001, is a volunteer organization with seven (7) board members, five (5) special interest working groups and approximately sixty (60) active members.
Over the past several years, NYCwireless has built free, public wireless networks in over ten New York City parks and open spaces through partnerships with local parks organizations such as the Bryant Park Restoration Corporation and business improvement districts such as the Alliance for Downtown New York. These include networks in Bryant Park, Union Square Park, Tompkins Square Park, Bowling Green Park, City Hall Park, and the South Street Seaport among others. In addition, the organization has created community engagement programs that take advantage of wireless networks in Manhattan, such as our annual wireless arts festival, Spectropolis.
